A property manager usually controls the information Buzzer handles for that company. Tuze Inc. operates Buzzer and processes that information to provide the service.
Buzzer uses AI to answer, coordinate, and take configured actions. People are told when a call is handled by AI and can ask for a person.
We do not sell personal information or use conversations for targeted advertising. One property manager cannot see another's conversations.
Buzzer is a product of Tuze Inc. This policy applies to the Buzzer website, our AI agents, and the services that link to this policy. It does not replace the privacy notices of the property management companies that use Buzzer.
When a property manager uses Buzzer to communicate with prospects, residents, owners, vendors, or staff, that company decides why and how the information is used. The property manager is the organization responsible for that customer data, and Tuze Inc. handles it as a service provider on the company's instructions.
Tuze Inc. is responsible for information collected for our own purposes, such as website operations, demo requests, customer administration, security, billing, and legal compliance. If you are unsure which role applies, contact us and we will help direct your request.
The information depends on how you interact with Buzzer.
This may include a name, phone number, email address, channel address, role or relationship to a property manager, communication preferences, and consent or opt-out records. Buzzer uses contact identifiers to route communications and maintain relevant context across channels for the same property management relationship.
We may handle message text, attachments, media links, delivery and read status, sender and recipient details, call audio while a call is live, call transcripts, call events, duration, language, and handoff records. Buzzer currently stores call transcripts and call metadata, but not a separate persistent copy of raw call audio in its application database. A communications or AI provider may have its own limited retention.
A customer may provide property, unit, listing, lease, applicant, resident, owner, vendor, maintenance, scheduling, document, and work order information. The exact information depends on the features and systems that customer connects.
We keep the context supplied to an AI agent, its responses, action and approval records, handoffs, and the operational records needed to complete, secure, and audit work. We also process IP addresses, timestamps, error details, security events, and service logs.
We may receive business contact details and the information you choose to provide when you book a demo or contact us. Our current public website does not run behavioural advertising. If you follow a demo booking link, Cal.com processes the information you submit under its own privacy terms.
Information may come from you, a Buzzer customer, the communication service you use, a property management or calendar system connected by the customer, customer uploads, service providers, or public property listings and business sources where permitted by law.
We use personal information to:
We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand service performance and improve Buzzer. We do not allow third-party AI providers to train their general-purpose models on customer data submitted through Buzzer. We may develop or fine-tune models for Buzzer using aggregated or de-identified information. We will not use identifiable customer communications to train or fine-tune a model unless the customer has agreed and any consent required by law has been obtained.
Buzzer's agents are powered by artificial intelligence. They can answer questions, remember relevant context within the same property manager relationship, use connected tools, and prepare or complete work that a customer has configured. Relevant conversation and account context is sent to AI providers so the agent can respond.
Buzzer uses business AI services under terms that prohibit model training on submitted customer content. Authorized Tuze staff may review limited conversations, transcripts, and service records when needed for support, safety, quality review, or incident investigation. Access is limited to people who need it.
Buzzer is not intended to make final housing eligibility, credit, legally binding, or financial decisions on its own. These actions require an authorized person and, where applicable, express consent. You can ask the agent for a person or contact the property manager directly to question or correct an outcome.
Buzzer communicates through channels chosen by a property manager, including WhatsApp, SMS, email, and phone. Service messages may be sent in response to your request or as part of an existing property management relationship. Marketing messages require the consent required by law and the applicable channel.
You can opt out of messaging by replying STOP where supported or by contacting the property manager. Opting out of one channel does not cancel a lease, service request, or other underlying relationship, and the property manager may contact you another lawful way when necessary.
At the beginning of an AI-handled phone call, Buzzer states that the caller is speaking with an AI assistant, that the call is transcribed, and that a person can be requested. Live audio is sent to voice and AI providers for real-time processing. If call recording is introduced, we will provide any additional notice or consent required before recording.
We retain customer data for the customer relationship and as reasonably needed to deliver, secure, support, and audit the service. A customer agreement or configuration may set a different period. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, subject to legal, security, dispute, fraud-prevention, and backup requirements. Service providers may keep limited records under their own retention terms.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the sensitivity of the information. These include access controls, encryption in transit, account-level data separation, logging, and controls around sensitive actions. No system is perfectly secure. If you believe information has been exposed or misused, contact us promptly.
Tuze Inc. is based in Canada. Buzzer and its providers may process or store information in Canada, the United States, and other countries where a provider operates. Information in another country can be subject to that country's laws and lawful access requirements.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access to or correction of personal information, request deletion, withdraw consent, object to certain uses, or make a complaint.
If your information was handled for a property manager, contact that company first. It controls the customer record and is usually best placed to identify it and respond. Tuze Inc. will help the property manager fulfil a valid request and will forward a request when appropriate.
For information Tuze Inc. controls directly, or if you cannot reach the property manager, email info@tuze.ca with the subject “Buzzer privacy request.” Include the property manager you dealt with and the phone number or email used, but do not send passwords or identity documents until we ask. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Legal exceptions may apply.

We may update this policy as Buzzer changes. We will post the revised version here and change the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information, we will provide additional notice when required.
